The Heart Gallery & Taylors Closet

I recently did a shoot for the Heart Gallery of Broward County.  Although I can’t share the images with you, I can sing their praises of what an amazing organization they are.  The Heart Gallery gets photographers together with foster children who need to be adopted.  We photograph them, make prints and then a traveling gallery of images and bios of the children tours around to raise awareness that they are looking to be adopted.  Well this shoot was a little different than some of the ones I’ve done in the past.  They partnered with Taylors Closet, an organization who gives new clothing to kids in care.  So the girls arrived, got to shop and pick out new clothes for back to school, and then we photographed them in their new stuff for the Heart Gallery.  It was an amazing experience for me, and I’m honored to be involved with a wonderful organization.  Please check out their links below.

A little beauty never hurt anyone.

Nothing like coming off an amazing vacation to get right back to work with something so creative.  I collaborated with Stylist, Autumn from Farenheit Salon, and Mia Domingo (make-up) to create this image.  We are entering a hair contest with Wella.  Wish us luck!

Aria at Bloomingdales

The amazing Aria Kagan of the Next Food Network Star did a cooking demo today at Bloomingdales in Aventura.  She has such a presence, I enjoyed this demo so much.  I think with Aria’s help we can all be great in the kitchen.  Make sure you watch The Food Network on Sunday nights at 9pm.

Don’t forget to vote for Aria!

Detour Seattle

After the amazing wedding I thought I was coming home……..But my airline had different plans for me.  On my flight out of Reno, our plane had technical difficulties.  So we were put on another plane and re-routed through Seattle.  With a 4 hour layover in Seattle, a city I’d never been to, I thought I have 2 options.  I can sit in the airport, or go see the city!  So needless to say, we rented a limo (which was cheaper than a cab) and went into downtown Seattle for a few.  I got to see the original Starbucks!  And if you know me, you know how much I love them!!  I also checked out the market, and some very cool side streets.
